Order Information & Tracking
Upon completion of the online order process you will receive an e-mail Order Confirmation with a link to view the status of your order.
USPS Shipments- At the end of the day you will receive an e-mail notifying you that your order has been shipped.
UPS Shipments- You will receive an e-mail from Quantum View (UPS) that includes a tracking number and a link to access the shipment status.
Order Cancellation or Modification
Orders are processed as they are received. In order to modify or cancel your order, you will need to contact us and receive confirmation that the cancellation/modifications can be made.
Satisfaction Guaranteed***- If not completely satisfied with your purchase you may return any unused item/s in original condition within 30 days of receiving merchandise for a refund of the items purchase price. A return authorization number must be obtained prior to any return, as credit may not be issued for items returned without proper authorization. We suggest that you purchase insurance and obtain tracking information, as we are not responsible for lost returns.
***Special orders can not be cancelled and are non-refundable/non-returnable.
Items and/or amounts that we do not normally stock, that have been brought in at a customers request, are considered special orders. Special orders may require payment in advance.

There is no minimum order requirement for domestic orders/shipments. The only consideration is our Standard S&H charge of $6.95.
The minimum product total for shipments to Canada is US$25.00, and US$50.00 for all other international shipping destinations.
Standard Shipping and Packaging**
A nonrefundable flat fee of $6.95* will apply to each order for which our $6.95 Standard Shipping and Handling service is selected. Most orders, including all $6.95 Standard S&H orders** up to 3 lbs., are shipped using the Priority US Mail service (averages 2 day service to most domestic destinations). Please include both a physical address and a P.O. Box (if applicable) as your package may be shipped using the US Mail carrier, or the UPS carrier, depending on the destination, quantity, and products ordered.
Unless a split shipment is requested, each order is shipped complete. If items are out of stock, and your order can not be shipped complete, we will contact you with options.
* We do not solicit business outside the United States at this time and our Standard Shipping and Packaging terms generally only apply to shipments within the 48 contiguous states.
** Vulkem is a product that does not qualify for Priority US Mail shipping and will have to be shipped UPS Ground. Cane bolts may be shipped using the UPS or USPS service (our option).
Priority US Mail Shipments
Most orders received by 3pm PST M-F will ship the same day.

Sample and Economy Shipping Option
As of January 20, 2016, we are offering a USPS First Class Mail delivery option for $4.95 as an economy shipping & handling option for small samples and light weight orders.
Alaska & Hawaii Shipping Information
The Priority US Mail packaging/shipping options are available to Alaska and Hawaii customers as a Standard $6.95 S&H option. These orders will be shipped using the USPS Priority US Mail delivery service.***
The Shipping & Payment check-out screen lists our Standard $6.95 S&H option, the Economy $4.95 US Mail First Class option (if available), as well as UPS delivery service options and pricing. Select your preferred delivery service option by clicking the corresponding radio button.
*** Please note that although USPS classifies Alaska and Hawaii as zone 8, and suggests that 2 to 3 days is typical for a Priority US Mail delivery, we have seen instances where the delivery service takes longer. Also, there may be a few exceptions, like Vulkem, in which case an e-mail notice will be sent listing other S&H options (if available).
Canada Shipping Information
Priority MailŪ International is our standard method for shipments to Canada. In addition to shipping charges, Canadian customers are charged a US$10 handling fee (additional charges may apply). Special terms also apply to Canadian orders.

Standard Shipping Insurance
Our standard $6.95 shipping and handling service provides insurance on the contents to the point of delivery. We are not responsible for a shipment once a delivery notification has been issued by the carrier. In the event that a shipment or item/s are lost in transit, we will attempt to replace the item/s, or if unavailable, offer a substitution, or issue a refund.
If you are concerned about the loss of a shipment at your location, you might consider the following options:
USPS Shipments- you may request Signature Confirmation for an additional fee of $2.45/package.
UPS Shipments- you may request (1) that the package be held for pick-up, (2) Delivery Confirmation Signature Required for an additional fee of $4.50/package, or (3) Delivery Confirmation Adult Signature Required for an additional fee of $5.50/package. Click the links above for review of each service, the carriers obligations, and your obligations. Please understand that the above options are not insurance, and that refused or undeliverable package costs will apply if you do not fulfill your obligations and a package is returned.
If you select any of the following 3 options, depending on the carrier we select, the additional corresponding service cost will be added to your invoice.
If you wish to have us apply other options that are provided by a carrier, please place your request in the Note box near the bottom of the Billing Information Checkout screen, send us an e-mail, fax your request, or call for availability. If special arrangements are possible you will receive an e-mail acknowledging your request.
Special Shipping Options
A $5.50 handling fee will apply for all requests other than (i) our $6.95 Standard Shipping & Handling service, and (ii) the new $4.95 USPS First Class Mail delivery option. If you wish to have us bill a UPS shipment to your shipping account, then the handling fee will only be $3.50. Please contact us to determine if special shipping arrangements are possible. You may place your request in the Note box near the bottom of the Billing Information Checkout screen, send us an e-mail, or fax your request acknowledging our terms. If special arrangements are possible you will receive an e-mail acknowledging your request.
To be considered for expedited UPS shipments you must contact us by 2pm PST.

Reimbursement of expedited shipping costs are limited to that which is provided by UPS.
Refused or Undeliverable Packages
The customer will be notified in the event that a package has been refused or returned because it was undeliverable. If the order is to be resent, an additional shipping cost will incur. A credit for the purchase price, less all shipping related costs will be issued if the order has been returned or is refused/canceled.
Undelivered/Lost Package Claim
In the event that an order has not been received, and tracking information also indicates that it has not been delivered, we can submit a claim with the carrier after a specified period of time.
In the event that an order has not been received, but tracking information lists that the shipment has been delivered, we are unable to submit an insurance claim with the carrier. In this instance, the best course of action is for the recipient to contact their delivery office and/or carrier, and request a review of the delivery information and circumstances associated with the delivery.
In either of the above cases, time is of the essence, and the recipient should take action within a few days of the expected/suggested delivery date.
Methods of Payment
Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express cards accepted.
Checks and Money Orders- Make payable to GateLatchUSA. Allow 3 to 8 days for us to receive your order and payment, and 2 weeks for your payment to clear. Payments that are returned will incur a $25.00 service charge.
Items listed online are stocked and normally available (quantities may be limited). Each order is shipped complete unless a split shipment is requested. In the event that we can not fulfill your order in total, we will call or send you an e-mail listing your options.
Prices are subject to stock on hand and availability. All prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors and will notify customers in the event that an order has been priced incorrectly.
The State of Oregon does not have a sales tax, so we will not be collecting tax on your purchase.
Please note that in the event that a tax applies on your purchase, that we will not be collecting, or processing, the tax on your behalf.

GateLatchUSA warrants products to be free from defects in material and workmanship. If a product is proven defective, our liability is limited to the cost of the defective item and we will replace or issue a credit for the defective product at our option. No other warranty is expressed or implied.
Items should be examined prior to installation and any products found to be defective or unsuitable should be returned within 30 days from the date of receiving merchandise and in accordance with the terms of our Return Policy listed above.
The customer shall test and verify that the product is suitable for the intended use. No warranty is made for intended use and the customer assumes all risk and liability. GateLatchUSA shall not be liable for any damages or loss from the use, or inability of use, of the product. GateLatchUSAs only obligation is replacement, or credit, for the product determined defective, and is limited to the cost of the defective item.
