General Guidance/Considerations for Installation
Position and fasten the cranked bands to the door or gate so that they are cenetered on rails, perpendicular to the edge of the door or gate, and overhang the edge so that the edge of the hook plates will be a minimum of 1/4" from the edge of the jamb or post.
With the hooks inserted into the bands, and the slight slack between the pin and the band removed by pushing the top hook plate away from the gate and the bottom hook plate towards the gate, attach the hook plates to the post.
